Today’s A5 Sweet Sixteen camouflage models have the advantage of a smaller, 16-gauge humpback alloy receiver that reduces weight and speeds handling. There is a tough composite stock for durability in all weather conditions. It has an oversize bolt release and bolt handle and the bolt and shell carrier have a nickel Teflon coating that adds protection and lubricicity to these crucial parts. The chamber and bore are chromed for resistance to wear and corrosion. The Browning A5 makes use of kinetic energy with its short recoil-operated Kinematic Drive System. Operation is clean because gases are sent out the barrel and away from the action.
